Mosgiel North Taieri Presbyterian Church Bulletin
For Week Ending 5th September, 2010
Thought For the Week
To a child, love is usually spelled t-i-m-e.
We welcome you warmly to our services today, praying that all who gather here
will be blessed by God as we worship Him together.
Welcome to worship at Mosgiel 10.00am
Theme: Baptism: Starting the journey of (radical) discipleship.
Words of Assurance
"..........You are loved. You are Free!"
ALL: Hallelujah!
Following Pierre and Jana's commitment and re-commitment to Christ, this morning we are glad to baptise and welcome Amelia Niemand into the family of God. The congregation will be asked to promise support, as you are able, toward the growth into discipleship of Amelia and all our children. To actively commit to this is the ultimate in being 'Kids Friendly' What action are you able to take to demonstrate your commitment? Regular prayer? Learning and using children's names? Helping with morning tea for the children? Having a family to a meal?
Reading Luke 14: 25 - 33
Reader: This is the Gospel of the Lord.
All: PRAISE TO YOU, LORD JESUS CHRIST!
Following our fire drill at around 11.10am you are invited to a special morning tea prepared by Jana and Pierre to celebrate with them and Amelia. Please do come back in for it!
